Films, fictions or documentaries, on the motivations of African candidates for exile, or on their perilous crossing of the Mediterranean have flourished on screens over the past ten years. But there is little evidence of the daily life of migrants once they arrive in Europe. This is shown in the documentary Traverser, currently in theaters in France. The director, Joël Akafou, followed the fate of a young Ivorian who arrived in Italy. .
