(Finance) – Birdthe scooter sharing company, which operates in Rome and in the main Italian cities and in the rest of the world, announces that it will establish stalls in Municipio 1 in Rometo give a concrete answer to the problem of wild parking in the capital.
Bird will allow close the rental exclusively in virtual parking lots identified: suitable and safe places, distributed in a capillary way in full compliance with the city’s dignity and parking regulations. Virtual parking will be visible from Monday on the Bird app throughout the Town Hall 1.
And this is not the only novelty. Bird will bring the most advanced of its parking technologies to Rome, Bird Visual Parking System (VPS). Rome is the first European city to experience the new parking toolwhich uses a scalable and revolutionary technology that, thanks to Google’s ARCore geospatial API, allows the company to geo-locate parked scooters with pinpoint accuracy, leveraging years of Google 3D scans, augmented reality (AR) and Street View data from around the world.
