The raven players get to test Zdeno Charas’ monster club in training – and it goes just as badly as you think

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Zdeno Chara does not directly have the shortest club in the NHL.
And for raven lyres it should be virtually impossible to master it.
And yes, that’s just it…

Zdeno Chara is truly unique in ice hockey. He has played at the very highest level for almost 25 (!) Years, and there seems to be no thought of ending his career.

Incredible career

He is the defender with the most games in the NHL of all time, and he just finished his 24th season in the world’s best league. And it’s easy to understand when you think about the type of player he’s been – and still is.

Chara has really always had the whole package, and especially when it comes to just defending. He has always had the ability to be in the right place at the right time, and he has also had the ability to step forward with important goals and assists, when needed most. But there’s one thing that really stuck out with Chara, and that is his physique.

May test on the club

Chara is 205 centimeters tall, and weighs 113 kilos, and probably has the longest wingspan among all players in the league. And well then, it’s not exactly a little club he has in his hands when he plays. His specially made clubs are not immediately easy to get hold of, but an American raven team got the chance to test a training with Charas’ club, and it went exactly as many had predicted.

The raven liras have obvious problems even skating when holding the club, and in the clip, which has almost 2 million views on Youtube, some also try a few pulls and shots. And it goes, of course, not very well. Watch the turbulent clip for yourself.
