Jurassic World 3: A New Age not only acts as the conclusion of the Jurassic World trilogy, but also completes the arc very first part of the series. What is special about Maisie Lockwood?
As it turns out, is Masie a clone of her mother. It was created using the technology Benjamin Lockwood worked on with Hammond. This circumstance is also the reason why the visionaries later went their separate ways. Maisie grew up unaware of this part of the story.

while dr Henry Wu wants to use her DNA to correct one of his mistakes, for Maisie in Jurassic World 3 it’s about to find their place in the world. Already in the first few minutes of the film, she is positioned between humans and dinosaurs. As the story progresses, another important character is added: her mother.
Maisie Lockwood is more than just a cloning experiment
Fear not, Charlotte Lockwood (played by Elva Trill as an adult) isn’t coming back from the dead. That would be too much of a return even for Jurassic World 3. For that dives Charlotte in various video recordings recorded in the course of her groundbreaking research work in the field of genetic engineering. Her mother’s words reassure Maisie that she’s not just some cloning experiment.
Instead, in the video footage, Charlotte explains that she always wanted to be a mother. The result is Maisie. However, their DNA does not match 100 percent. Charlotte has them genetic error eliminatedwhich ultimately led to her having to die early.
