Many probably want to claim that it is only Kajsa Bergqvist who has been bigger on the women’s side – and Emma Green left a huge void behind her in Swedish high jump when she chose to quit.

After her career, she has, among other things, done a lot of yoga. This is something she is still involved in, but not to the same extent as before. At the turn of the year, she left her position as CEO of the company Yuman Yoga.

– I felt that I did not have time and wanted to be able to devote myself to gaining new experiences and taking on other exciting assignments. Feels that I prefer to work for myself and that I can then influence my time to be able to make more emotional choices, she says to GP.

“I enjoy life”

Today she has chosen a different specialization – but she still works in sports and health and yoga is close to her heart. Instead, Emma Green works as a personal trainer with clients online.

– I am like people are most. I work a lot to try to inspire people to take care of themselves, both physically and mentally. To live healthy, and there I use some of yoga, she says and continues:

– I want to get people to listen to their body, because there are many who drive too hard with themselves. I did the same when I was an elite athlete. It is important to listen to what the body is trying to convey. It gives signals when something is wrong. I enjoy life.
