a video that looks back on the new physics engine

Electronic Arts invites you to discover an unpublished video ofEA Sport F1 22. Lasting 23 minutes and in 4K, the sequence focuses in particular on the new physics engine designed by the developers of Codemasters, as well as on all the subtleties that result from it in terms of piloting, tire management , or settings. Obviously, the improvements designed by the studio for EA Sport F1 22 cannot be counted on the fingers of one hand since two other videos of this type will be released soon.

In the meantime, remember that last month, Lee Mather (the creative director of the game) spoke about the arrival of virtual reality:

It’s something that fans have been asking me for a long time. Aligning the Planets allowed us to introduce this feature to the franchise, and players will have the opportunity to experience and better understand driving a Formula 1 car. We had the opportunity to speak to several times with the pilots on this calm that they can feel. Contrary to what one might think, they are not crazy. Somehow, driving over 320 km/h becomes a norm for them, time almost seems to slow down. Players will have the opportunity to scrutinize the many details present in the cockpit, to see the surroundings of the circuits and to feel the relief of the track. There’s nothing better than going at full speed and seeing the Eau Rouge de Spa rise up in front of you. With our binaural audio system, players will be able to benefit from an unprecedented degree of immersion for the series.

The release of F1 22 is set for July 1 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
