The crimes in question have been committed during training sessions with employees within the couple’s companies with activities in law. The training sessions took place in Dalarna and there must have been a lot of alcohol offered where several of the employees stated in interrogation that they felt excited to drink.
Showed genitals when employee slept over
During a weekend in January, the couple, who are in their 35s and 40s, performed oral sex on one of the employees without them participating voluntarily. According to the verdict, two other employees have also been subjected to acts during training sessions where the couple is now sentenced by the district court for sexual harassment. Among other things, the couple has asked intimate questions about the employees’ bodies and the man is also said to have taken a female employee by the ass.
The couple must also have harassed an employee by the male entrepreneur urging his partner to show his genitals to the employee when he slept over at the couple’s home.
Sentenced to prison
The man in the couple is now sentenced to one year and five months in prison for negligent rape and four cases of sexual harassment. Negligent rape means that you can be convicted of rape if you have been grossly negligent in the question of whether the other participates voluntarily or not. The woman is sentenced to one year and two months in prison for negligent rape and two cases of sexual harassment.
The couple must also pay damages to the employees who have been exposed to a total of just over SEK 100,000. Both the man and the woman have denied any wrongdoing.
Companies have previously criticized
The man in the couple has previously run a law firm that has been heavily criticized by customers and the General Complaints Board. That company is now bankrupt. Even one of the companies in question that the couple has run together has now been declared bankrupt.
