In the state of Uttarakhand, India, the bus with 28 passengers tumbled into the cliff. After the bus from Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district to Yamunotri fell into a 200-meter-deep valley, a large number of first aid and police teams were dispatched to the region.

Uttarkashi Police, Arpan Yaduvanshi, reported that 25 people were killed and 4 injured, including the bus driver.
Interior Minister Amit Shah stated that he met with the head of state regarding the incident and that search and rescue efforts continue in the region.
