The political savage Amineh Kakabaveh can decide the future of the government.
Now she demands that Sweden stand up to Turkey’s NATO demands.
“We can not compromise on democracy”, she writes in a debate article in Aftonbladet.
On Tuesday, the no-confidence vote against Minister of Justice Morgan Johansson (S) will be held.
The Sweden Democrats, Moderates, Christian Democrats and Liberals collect 174 seats – but to overthrow Johansson, another is required.
Former left-wing party member Amineh Kakabaveh looks set to be the scorer. But to keep the minister sitting, she demands that Sweden “stand up” in the NATO negotiations with Turkey.
“Can not be treated as terrorists”
In a debate article in Aftonbladet, she explains why.
“We can not treat those who fought against the barbarians of IS as terrorists just because Erdogan tells us. Parties in Sweden must be free to cooperate with the democratic opposition in Turkey “, she writes and continues:
“I stand up for universal human values even when they run counter to what Erdogan calls Turkish interests. I expect that the Swedish government and all parties in the Riksdag will also stand up for Sweden ”.
Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson has confirmed that a meeting with Kakabaveh will be held this weekend. The arms embargo against Turkey, which according to the government does not exist, and the stamp of terrorism by Kurdish organizations are some of the issues on the agenda, according to the political savage.
– They will be removed from the terror list. As long as they are involved, the Kurdish issue will be treated in this way, she has previously said.
Considering protest
Kakabaveh has not ruled out that Johansson can be convicted. And if that happens then it’s not her fault, she says.
– It is the government’s responsibility to seek a solution, it is not my responsibility. I hate this situation. I’m not against Morgan.
To Expressen she says she is considering not participating in the no-confidence vote at all.
Talks are underway, but so far I do not intend to go to the polls as a protest. But I continue to talk to S ”.
