However, this feature uses iOS 15 APIs. That’s why it’s only available to some beta testers on iOS 15. At least that’s the way forward.
On Android, the situation is different. Because Android users using WhatsApp can view the profile photos of the notification in the system notifications for a while when a notification comes from WhatsApp.
