STRIKE RATP. This Friday, June 3, 2022, the RATP inter-union called for a strike on the RER B. The disruptions announced by management are almost nil. Here are the forecasts.
[Mis à jour le 3 juin 2022 à 10h54] This day of strike on the RER B, day of the France-Denmark match at the Stade de France in Seine-Saint-Denis, has even less impact on the disruptions than the previous one launched last Saturday, day of the final of the League of Champions between Liverpool and Real Madrid. RER B traffic is “almost normal” according to RATP management, and RER A is running normally. No change of train is necessary at Gare du Nord, as the interconnection is maintained.
Some rare disturbances are to be expected between Paris and Yvelines, on the southern section of the RER B operated by the RATP. In detail, they concern the following Hauts-de-Seine stations: Bagneux, Bourg-la-Reine, Sceaux, Fontenay-aux-Roses, Robinson, La Croix de Berny, Antony, Fontaine-Michalon and Les Baconnets.
The management of the RATP reminds users who go to the match this Friday that they can also go to the stop Stade-de-France / Saint-Denis by borrowing line 12 (Front Populaire station), line 13 (Saint-Denis – Porte de Paris station) or RER D (Stade de France – Saint-Denis station) which also serve the Stade de France.
The social movement of this Friday, June 3 ultimately has very little impact on the RER B. No disruption is to be expected in the metros, buses and trams. Here are the disruptions of the RATP strike of June 3 in detail:
- RER disruptions : this Friday, June 3, almost normal traffic on the entire RER B line with interconnection maintained at Gare du Nord. The other lines, A, C, D and E are running quite normally.
- Metro disruptions : normal traffic Friday 3 June.
- Bus disruptions : normal traffic Friday 3 June.
After the strike on Saturday May 28 on the occasion of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool at the Stade de France, the unions CGT, FO, Unsa and La Base de la RATP wish to maintain the pressure by putting themselves again on strike as the Blues face Denmark at the Stade de France this Friday, June 3, with the aim of denouncing a lack of staff and asking, among other things, for salary increases to cope with inflation. “The dysfunctions (…) will persist as long as the proposal [de la direction] is weak”, they announced last Saturday.
The inter-union denounces “the lack of staff maintained for several years by the management of the RER” at the RATP. They considered the management’s proposal insufficient to organize two additional training sessions in driving the RER in the second half of 2022, pointing out that 34 retirements were planned in 2022 on RER A and 22 on RER B.
