The better Spider Man movie than No Way Home

With Spider-Man: No Way Home, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has celebrated a new high point after Endgame. That was mainly possible because of that multiversewhich allowed stars like Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire to be reunited with Tom Holland in their Spider-Man roles.

In 2018, however, another Marvel film from the smaller Sony universe ignited the better multiverse fireworks. The wacky animated film Spider-Man: A New Universe, which ProSieben is broadcasting today, is a completely over-stimulating superhero banger!

Spider-Man: A New Universe is a riot of colors and shapes

Teenage Miles Morales is in a Spider-Man costume in the Marvel animated film. He finds out that a particle accelerator closes holes different parallel universes burps. From which various versions of Spider-Man (and Peter Parker) penetrate into the world of the main character.

Spider-Man: A New Universe – Trailer 2 (German) HD

Spider-Man: A New Universe constantly explodes and works as a fast-paced high like a comic book cast in motionwhich mixes 2D and 3D animations, pop art style, trip reminiscences and a pop soundtrack for sensory overload.

The highlight of the Marvel film is the gathering of the many different Spider-Man versions through the multiverse. In addition to an older, broken Peter Parker, these include the animal Peter Porker, a female anime variant or Spider-Noir, which was brilliantly spoken in the original by Nicolas Cage and held in black and white style. Who needs cameos from Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire anymore.

as trendy, colorful fireworks of style Spider-Man: A New Universe remains one of the most extraordinary, entertaining superhero films of recent years.

Spider-Man: A New Universe airs today at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben.
