5 raids at GO Fest 2022 that are really worth it

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

The Pokémon GO Fest 2022 not only brings wild spawns, but also different raids on both event days. Which ones are particularly worthwhile?

What role do raids play in GO Fest 2022? Basically, there is a new monster pool for the raids on the GO Fest weekend on June 4th and 5th. You meet a few monsters that are otherwise not there.

The interesting thing: You can challenge these monsters even if you don’t have a GO Fest ticket. At the same time, you get up to 9 raid passes on Saturday and Sunday with the GO Fest ticket if you shoot arenas. Then raiding is worth it anyway.

All the differences between “with a ticket” and “without a ticket” can be found here.

What raids are there? We’ll show you the complete list of raids that are available this weekend and then look in detail at 5 monsters that are really worthwhile.

We mark possible shiny encounters with an asterisk*.

  • Which 5 raids are really worth it?

Here we look at raids where your raid passes are well spent.

    spleen

    Milza and its developments

This is what makes Milza special: The little dragon has been one of the most wanted Pokemon in the game over the past few months, as Milza has been damn hard to get until now. The 1-star raids make Milza really easy to get for the first time – although of course you have to find them first. You can also get his shiny form with luck.

By the way: On Saturday, the monster should also spawn in the wild during the GO Fest 2022 if the level habitat is running.

However, Milza is not only particularly exciting because of its rarity. His latest evolution, Maxax, is one of the best dragon attackers out there. Few monsters beat it in that category, including the next one on this list.

    Brutalanda

Brutalanda is a strong dragon monster

This is what sets Brutalanda apart: Brutalanda ranks higher than Maxax in the list of dragon attackers and is definitely worth a raid if you’re still missing a good example. You can also get a lot of candies from the raid if you already have a good Brutalanda.

For anyone who has missed this monster so far, the raid is definitely worth it. Small drop of bitterness: You cannot get the shiny variant in the raid.

    Kyogre

    Kyogre and his Shiny form

This is what makes Kyogre special: The legendary Water-type Pokémon is one of the absolute best water-type attackers in Pokémon GO, making it one of the best monsters at GO Fest.

So with Kyogre, your raid passes are never wasted unless you already have perfect copies of the powerful water monster. But even then, you can still hunt the dazzling variant, which is available in raids.

But keep in mind that this is a T5 raid. So you need a few people to beat it. You can find the best counters against Kyogre here.

    groudon

    Groudon and his Shiny form

This is what Groudon is all about: Groudon is the counterpart to Kyogre and can also convince with very good stats. It’s among the best attackers in the game and has a pretty flashy Shiny variant.

However, the same applies as with Kyorge: you need a few people for Groudon. The best counters against Groudon can be found here in the guide.

The secret tier 5 raid boss

What is this boss? Well, that remains to be seen. There is no official confirmation as to who this boss will be.

The most obvious answer, however, is “Anego” – the first of the new Ultra Beasts already announced for Pokémon GO. The boss has not yet been confirmed.

Anego is expected by many as a T5 boss

But: Whoever it will be, should be worth a raid – just because a new Pokémon can be caught here.

Pokémon GO: The strongest attackers of all types in the video

What about the rest of the raids?

This is what makes the other raids: The other raids of GO Fest 2022 are not bad across the board, but many are more suitable for the situation and do not convince with super-strong monsters.

So let’s take a quick look at these raids:

Costume Pikachu: It’s something for collectors, but doesn’t help much in raids or PvP. Shiny hunters can try to get the shiny shape.

Arboretoss, Marikeck and Miezunder: These are the second forms of the Alola starters. All three were very easy to get throughout the Alola season due to the starters being out in the wild a lot.

All three are currently being overtaken by other monsters in their respective types. Currently, only Marikeck with the Primarina evolution is really interesting, since it’s a strong water attacker. Also, you can’t get any of these three as Shiny.

Wuffels: Cute Pokemon that grows into cool Pokemon, but is currently not very interesting in either raids or PvP. You can catch the Shiny form though – that might be an incentive.

Shardrago: It’s rather useless in raids and only fills niches in PvP. But has a Shiny form that can be caught.

relaxo: Is a popular arena defender and has its uses in PvP – just not great in raids. In addition, you can catch his shiny form with luck. Only ends up in this part of the list because it’s just very old now and many people should already have it. One thing is missing: grab it.
