The all-new electric DeLorean, an ultramodern version of the model made famous throughout the world by the saga “ Back to the future “, has finally been unveiled. Produced in only 88 copies, it will be marketed before the end of the year, for first deliveries scheduled for 2024.

The DeLorean Alpha5 marks the great return of the American brand to the front of the stage and resolutely turned towards the future. A few years after its rebirth, the manufacturer is finally launching a successor to its legendary DMC-12.
Designed by the ItalDesign studio, the DeLorean Alpha5 is a fully electric four-seater model, which incorporates many emblematic features of the DMC-12, from the light signature to the famous doors butterfly. Inevitably much more modern, its interior accommodates two large screens at the level of the dashboard and the central console. In terms of performance, it will not exceed 250 km/h and goes from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.99 seconds. His autonomy is estimated at just over 480 km.
It should be officially presented at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 21, 2022. Its price has not yet been communicated.
