A Polish truck driver has been arrested after an accident on the E4 outside Norrköping. He is suspected for probable cause of gross negligence in traffic, causing another person’s death and causing bodily injury, local media reports.
It was on Monday that a truck, a TMA car (used to warn road users of road works) and a car collided. A woman in her 40s died and a man in his 30s was seriously injured in the accident.
The suspect was also seriously injured and is still being cared for in hospital. A new arrest hearing will therefore be held when the man can attend. Through his lawyer, the man has disputed all criminal suspicions.
