In many European countries, the use of a mask in public spaces and means of transport is still required.
The summer holiday season has begun and tourism is gaining momentum after more than two years of coronation.
The majority of European countries have lifted interest rate restrictions on entry.
As a general rule, vaccination information is not required for entry into the European Union and the EEA.
According to the site, 20 countries in Europe are now admitting European tourists without corona proof. For those coming from so-called third countries, the rules vary from country to country.
In contrast, nine countries, including Spain, Portugal and Finland, still require proof of a full vaccination series or a pure test result upon entry.
Even if the entry would work unconditionally, the surprise mask rules for tourists still apply to airlines, for example. Regulations are constantly changing.

In Italy, the mask is required on public transport at least until mid-June
In Italy, the FFP2 mask must be worn at least until June 15 in public transport, such as on flights, ships and ferries.
The use of face shield is also required at large public events.
The absence of a mask is pointed out, but there is already variation in the imposition of fines, for example.
Exemption from the use of the mask is granted to people under the age of 6 and, of course, people who have a health reason for doing so.
Italy still recommends the use of masks, although this is not mandatory. The rules are subject to change with a couple of days’ notice.
Spain requires a corona passport or proof of test
The general guideline in Spain is that the mask must be used in public transport, care facilities and pharmacies. Face protection is no longer needed in restaurants, shops or public events.
But – Spain is made up of 17 autonomous communities, so the rules may vary.
No certificates are required for Madeira
When flying to Portugal, a face mask must be used. It is not needed when leaving.
In public transport, taxis and care facilities, people over the age of 6 must wear face shields.
In Greece, the mask is only required on public transport
The mask rules also eased in early June. At airports and indoors, they are no longer needed.
The mask must be used on public transport and on ferries, for example.
France lifted corona restrictions and mask coercion
In mid-May, the obligation to wear masks was lifted in France. Thus, face protection is not required on flights, airports, public transport, restaurants or museums, for example.
As in many other states, care workers and hospitals require the use of protection.
The vaccine shield must be in good condition. There are still regulations on entry for the corona, depending on the area from which the tourist is coming.
