Hundreds of Utrecht residents ate cake, danced, enjoyed live music and celebrated together that Utrecht received city rights 900 years ago. Early this morning the special birthday flag was hoisted by the Utrecht aldermen and mayor Dijksma. That was the start of all the festivities.
