UEFA and CONMEBOL continue to work together and their partnership will not end with the men’s Finalissima. In fact, they have announced that the women’s Finalissima between the European and American champions will be held in the near future, although the date of the event is not yet known.
Once the champion of the European Women’s Championship in England is known which is celebrated in July and in which Spain participates, and the winner of the CONMEBOL Women’s Copa América, to be held in the same month in Colombia, a Finalissima will be planned Women’s UEFA-CONMEBOL in Europe, whose date and venue will be announced.
