Andersson met with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who came to attend the conference held in the capital, Stockholm.
Speaking at the press conference held after the meeting, Andersson touched upon the NATO negotiations between Turkey and Sweden.

The UKRAINE WAR AND THE FOOD CRISIS
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, on the other hand, stated that Russia once again condemned the invasion of Ukraine and said that quick steps should be taken to solve the food crisis caused by the Ukraine-Russia War.
Pointing out that the food crisis triggered by the war will affect developing countries badly, Guterres called for quick decisions for these countries against the food crisis.
Guterres noted that Ukraine’s food production and Russia’s fertilizer production must re-enter the world market.
Guterres underlined the need for fertilizer produced by Russia, “But let me be honest; there is no effective solution to the food crisis without reintegrating Ukraine’s food production as well as Russia’s food and fertilizer into world markets despite the war. Every possible way.” I continue to make the effort and use my good intentions to encourage a dialogue towards this end.”
