Cecilia Gyldén, who is the initiator and general secretary of the Lidingö race, says that they have spoken to the police who say that they are aware of the safety – but that several schools have still chosen not to go there.
– There will only be around 300-400 children instead of 1500, so there is a big difference. But there are also schools that run their own school instead, says Cecilia.
The relay is a kick-off for the entire Järva Week and will attract more children and young people to move around and increase interest and understanding of politics, society and business by getting them to visit Järva Week’s area.
