On June 2nd at 19:00 CET, the much-anticipated MMO Diablo: Immortal will be available to play for free by anyone with a mobile (or PC). But should you play the game at all? In the short MeinMMO check you can find out whether Diablo: Immortal is something for you.
What is Diablo: Immortal? Originally presented at BlizzCon as a pure smartphone and mobile game, Diablo: Immortal initially received quite a bit of hate from the community. But now it is known that you can also play the new Diablo on the PC. The first beta testers are also enthusiastic about the game and the fans are getting more and more involved.
Diablo: Immortal core features include:
When and where exactly will Diablo: Immortal appear? The servers for the MMO are scheduled to go live on Thursday, June 2 at 7:00 p.m. Then you can play the game on Android, iOS and PC. Here, however, the PC already gets a first extra sausage, because there you can already download Diablo: Immortal via BattleNet so that you can start right away.
There is no preload for the smartphone versions of the game. Nevertheless, the developers promise that Diablo: Immortal was built with the “smartphone first” idea in mind. This means that while you can experience the game on PC and also enjoy crossplay and cross-save features, it is primarily an Android and iOS game.

Checklist – Should I Play Diablo: Immortal?
To give you a quick overview, we have prepared 10 statements for you here. If you answer “yes” to 8 of them, Diablo: Immortal should definitely be interesting for you. If you are still unsure or can confirm fewer statements in the affirmative, there is an overview below of what exactly awaits you in Diablo: Immortal.

Diablo: Immortal – What’s in it?
Why should I watch this? Above all, fans of the previous Diablo titles should also take a look at Immortal, but the mobile MMO is not the only one that picks them up. Because Immortal moves further in the direction of an MMORPG than its predecessors do and could therefore also be interesting for fans of this genre.
But what are you doing there all day? The Diablo: Immortal gaming experience focuses on the following content:
The Cycle of Strife: What is that, you ask? Rightly. Because behind the initially rather strange name is the biggest feature of Diablo: Immortal. In the Cycle of Strife there are always two factions fighting each other. The reigning Immortals and the shadows trying to overthrow them. The respective clans fight in huge PvP battles.
The shadows can try to overthrow the Immortals once a week. If they win enough rounds, they can attack the boss of the Immortals. An epic battle then ensues where an Immortals player actually becomes the raid boss. In a 30 vs. 1 fight, the Immortal must then be defeated, which gains enormously powerful abilities to defend itself.
If the Shadows overthrow the Immortals, they become the new Immortals. As such, you also have access to special dungeons and 48-player raids
Immortal is turning the class system upside down
How do the classes work? Here, too, an MMORPG immediately comes to mind, namely Final Fantasy XIV. In Immortal you only need one character and you can play any available class with it. However, this does not work as easily as you may be used to in other MMORPGs.
For the time being, the class change should be time-limited and work either every week or every month. The exact limit is still being determined and may change accordingly.
What classes are there? There are 6 classes to choose from that already existed in Diablo 3:
In addition, leakers have already found references to a whole new class in the game files. The blood knight should therefore become a kind of melee vampire, but he has not yet been confirmed.
