The Japanese company has released its Playstation 5 to us for a little over eighteen months, and is unable to reach the sales scores of the Playstation 4. In question, a shortage of semiconductors which has lasted since the start of the pandemic of coronavirus, and empty shelves in the home console sector. But the console is still in demand, and there are still ways to get it at a good price, new. At the end of May, we take stock of restocking, and we offer you all our tips for an effective purchase.
Also, note that it is possible to find the console in stores for a few days. This is the big news at the end of May, Micromania has received copies of the Playstation 5 in store, and are offering a few customers to pick up a copy in store. These are PS5 + Horizon Forbidden West packs, newly released by Sony, and available in certain stores of the famous high-tech chain. If restocking is very limited at the start of the week, there is still a place to find the Playstation 5 every time. Rakuten indeed offers consoles for resale, sold by professionals and individuals. Note however that the consoles are resold well beyond their original selling price. There are new Playstation 5s around 700 to 800 €, while their in-store counterparts are sold at 399 € for the Digital version and 499 € for the Standard version. This is a buy for those who want Sony’s latest console at all costs.
How to buy a PS5 in 2022?
After a month rich in stock for the Sony console, restocking is slowing down, except for a few copies put on sale by Auchan on Monday. But the situation is a good omen for potential buyers of the Playstation 5, who are seeing an increase in the “drops” of the console.
