An arrest warrant has been issued for a 70-year-old Dutton man facing a string of charges in a historical sexual assault case involving four people, including two minors, during the span of three decades.

Timothy Quinlan, 70, was charged Feb. 16 with four counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and invitation to touching with a person under 16. He was released from custody two days later.

A bench warrant was issued for Quinlan’s arrest last Thursday after he failed to make a scheduled appearance in court on the charges listed.

Short records show Quinlan faces charges for offenses alleged to have occurred between Jan 1, 1984, and Aug. 17, 2016, across multiple locations in Dutton Dunwich, Southwest Middlesex, Strathroy-Caradoc and London.

At least two of the four complainants — two women and two men — were younger than 14 at the time of the alleged offences, the records show. Their identities are protected under a court-ordered publication ban.

Middlesex OPP have said investigators believe there may be additional complainants. Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Anyone in need of support can contact Victim Services of Middlesex-London at 519-661-5636.
