Singer, drummer and presenter Edwin Rutten is “extremely honored” that terms he invented forty years ago in his program De Film van Ome Willem now end up in the Dikke Van Dale. This is what the 79-year-old television star said in response to the news that the expressions ‘whoooo de poopie’ and ‘great gray goat knitter’ are getting a place in the dictionary. According to the Utrecht publisher of the Van Dale, they are still widely used.
