In Leila’s Brothers, by Iranian director Saeed Roustaee, the stories of a family as modest as it is in debt intertwine and collide in a subtle way and in constant motion with the injustices, cruelties and hypocrisy of the society that surrounded. The elevator plays a very important role here.
