Stacey Tierney, 29, was found dead on the couch after an after-party overdose at the strip bar at Dream’s Gentlemen’s Club in Melbourne, Australia. The British fitness trainer started working at the club in November 2016. Although she didn’t like the job, she paid well and got a work visa to save money for her nursing training course.
“There are unanswered questions”
After finishing work for the day, Stacey attended one of the club’s VIP lounges with the two men, where they held an ‘after party’.
In November 2018, the coroner ruled that the young woman died of drug poisoning from a drug cocktail two days before Christmas.
South Manchester’s senior forensic scientist Alison Mutch said there were still “unanswered questions” about what happened for a long time before Stacey’s death.

Yesterday, Stacey was said to have been left there for 31 hours after she spent the evening in a private room with the two men and died of an overdose.
During the forensic hearing in 2018, Stacey’s mother and other family members tearfully wanted to know why she wasn’t called for help. His mother, Michelle Frost, said, “They didn’t bother to help him. They didn’t call an ambulance. He was a good person. I feel there is an injustice somewhere. Why would you watch someone die?” she spoke.
Stacey’s stepfather, David Frost, said the tragic case stunned the family, and referring to the two men and the club management, “Of course they’re hiding something, aren’t they?” she asked.
