World of Warcraft 9.2.5. With the update, the long-awaited first step will be taken to break the walls between the Horde and the Alliance.
World of Warcraft 9.2.5. The update will be activated on Tuesday, May 31 in America, and on Wednesday, June 1 on European servers. Shadowlands’ 9.2 patch, 9.2.5, which was announced while developing “Eternity’s End” and radically changes the World Of Warcraft faction logic, will arrive with Shadowlands Season 4. With the update, the walls between the Horde and the Alliance will be torn down to include endgame content. This means that a Horde player can enter Raid, Dungeon, Rated PVP or Torghast with an Alliance mate.
World of Warcraft 9.2.5. update weakens the barrier between factions
Alliance and Horde players will need to be registered via BattleTag or Real ID or be a member of one of the special communities called “Community” in the game in order to form a party and participate in endgame activities together. The Cross-Faction feature will not cover some special cases such as Heroic Dungeon.
The new faction system will not completely break the wall between the Horde and the Alliance, contrary to the expectations of the vast majority of players. Players from the opposing faction will continue to play as “we don’t like each other very much” except for endgame activities (even if they are in the same party).
Lead Game Designer Ion Hazzikostas stated that they did not close the door to the Cross-Faction Guild system, one of the most anticipated features, but technically it is not possible for now. In addition, some old raids and dungeons that contain Horde and Alliance specific situations will also be excluded from this feature. Blizzard’s examples of this situation include raids and dungeons such as Icecrown Citadel, Siege of Boralus, and Trial of The Crusader.
Shadowlands Season 4 will be added to the game towards the end of summer
Update 9.2.5 is also expected to add some questlines to the game, which are focused on Azeroth and will break the first bridge between Shadowlands and Dragonflight expansion packs. The Dark Iron Dwarf and Blood Elf races will receive special armor sets and cosmetic weapons at the end of their race-specific quest chain.
With the 9.2.5 patch, what Blizarrd calls “experimental” will be added to the Shadowlands Season 4 game. The new season, whose date has not yet been determined, is expected to be added to the game at the end of the summer. With the fourth season of the pack, the game’s Mythic+ dungeon pool will change completely and will consist of the following 8 dungeons:
-Tazavesh: Streets of Wonder (Shadowlands)
-Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit (Shadowlands)
-Operation Mechagon: Junkyard (Battle for Azeroth)
-Operation Mechagon: Workshop (Battle for Azeroth)
-Return to Karazhan: Lower (Legion)
-Return to Karazhan: Upper (Legion)
-Grimrail Depot (Warlords of Draenor)
-Iron Docks (Warlords of Draenor)
No new raids will be added to the game with Season 4, but the 3 raids that players enter throughout the Shadowlands – Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination and Sepulcher of The First Ones – will be active alternately. The achievements Shadowlands 9.2 Cutting Edge, Ahead of the Curve, and Keystone Master will be available until Season 4 is activated.
