A final that started with a good goal from Gerard Moreno in the first part, to be matched at the beginning of the second by Edinson Cavani. After an extra time in which Villarreal came closer to winning, the trophy was decided on penalties.

The Castellón team lined up an eleven made up of Gero Rulli as a goalkeeper, with Foyth, Albiol, Pau Torres and Alfonso Pedraza as fenders; a midfield with Capoue, Parejo, Trigueros and Yeremy Pino; to play with an attacking pair made up of Gerard Moreno and Carlos Bacca.

While Manchester United fielded David De Gea as a goalkeeper, with a defense made up of Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Lindelof, and Saw. A midfield with MacTominay, Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, and Grenwood. And with a front formed by Rashford and Cavani.
