At least six people were killed and 19 were injured when a bus carrying migrants crashed into a steep slope in the state of San Luis Potosí in central Mexico on Wednesday, according to local authorities.
Based on photos from the accident site, the bus appears to have overturned down the rocky slope after turning off a road. 19 people were injured in the accident, among them a six-month-old child and an eight-year-old.
The six victims, according to the San Luis Potosí Civil Protection Authority, came from Honduras, El Salvador and Cuba.
