It has been revealed that 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, the primary school attacker in the USA, shared the attack on his Facebook account before the attack on the elementary school in the state of Texas.
SHARED 30 MINUTES AGO
It was announced that 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, who launched an armed attack on Robb Elementary School in the US state of Texas yesterday and killed 21 people, including 19 children, shared a post on his social media account before the attack. Texas Governor Greg Abbott stated at a press conference that Ramos had posted on his Facebook account about 30 minutes before the attack, adding that in his first post he wrote “I’m going to shoot my grandma”. Abbott later stated that Ramos shared “I shot my grandmother” and “I’m going to shoot at an elementary school”.
Spokesperson of Facebook’s umbrella organization Meta, Andy Stone, stated that the messages written by the attacker were “one-to-one private text messages” and announced that they cooperated closely with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.
Bought a rifle TWICE
Stating that Ramos was a dropout from Uvalde High School and that the authorities have not found a criminal history so far, McCraw stated that the attacker lived with his 66-year-old grandmother.
Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw said in a statement that Ramos bought 375 bullets for the said rifle on March 18, after a semi-automatic rifle from a local sporting goods store on March 17. He stated that he bought another semi-automatic rifle from the store.
GRAND GRAND’S LIFE IS IN DANGER
McCraw stated that his 66-year-old grandmother, who was shot by Ramos before the primary school attack, is alive but in critical condition. McCraw said that after her grandmother was attacked, she ran to a neighbor across the street for help and reported Ramos to the police. (UAV)
