Since March 2019, we have been waiting for news of Gollum, the ambitious title from Daedalic Entertainment and Nacon which places the funny hobbit at the heart of the action. It’s now done with a release date announced, and for very soon.

After all, it’s this scrawny, schizophrenic old hobbit that allows Frodo and Sam to cross Middle-earth without too much trouble. And to pay tribute to this little guy, Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment, we decided to place him at the center of their new video game adventure. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum arrives very soon, and offers players an adventure of exploration and infiltration in the desolate lands of Mordor. Good news, we finally know its release date.
And yes, it is on September 1st that we can begin the epic of Gollum, which begins in no other fortress than Barad-Dûr. Indeed, the action takes place in the beginnings of the Fellowship of the Ring, when our dear quadripod is released from the jails of Sauron’s fortress after several weeks of torture. In The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, you will have to use your finesse and your discretion to circumvent many dangers while revisiting the key places of the saga. Your goal is, you guessed it, to find your “precious” which could well end up in the hands of two young hiking Hobbits.
