New Thor 4 trailer finally reveals Christian Bales extremely gross

While Doctor Strange 2 continues to dominate the cinemas, the next film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is already announced. After the multiverse chaos, we plunge into crazy space adventure with Chris Hemsworth. We have the new trailer for Thor 4: Love and Thunder for you.

What’s special about the Thor sequel is that Hemsworth isn’t the only thunder god. As the first trailer revealed, we will too in the film Jane Foster as Mighty Thor see. She is played by Natalie Portman, who last appeared in a major role in the MCU in Thor 2: The Dark Kingdom.

The new Thor film is again directed by Taika Waititi, who previously directed Thor 3: Day of Decision and changed Thor’s image in the MCU enormously. The fantasy approach of the first two parts became a wild sci-fi tripwhich more closely resembled the style of the Guardians of the Galaxy films.

In a recent interview with Empire, Waititi explained how Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster found her way back into the MCU.

I didn’t know we were going to use the Mighty Thor storyline until we started fleshing out the story. If I [das Drehbuch] wrote, I was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be cool to bring Jane back?’

It quickly became clear that she part of the great adventure must become.

However, you don’t want Natalie to come back and just play the character running around with scientific equipment. While Thor flies around, she remains on the ground, tapping her foot and saying, ‘When is he coming back?’ This is boring. You want her to be part of the adventure.

However, there have been two small Jane Foster appearances in the MCU in recent years. In Avengers 4: Endgame, the character had a cameo thanks to archival footage. And in What If…? Portman lent her voice to the animated version of Jane Foster for one episode. Now she’s playing her biggest MCU role to date.

Thor 4: Love and Thunder launches on July 6, 2022 in the cinema. Alongside Hemsworth and Portman, Christian Bale is the third big name in the cast. He plays the villain of the film: Gorr the Godslayer. His appearance was kept secret for a long time. The latest trailer finally shows us the antagonist in all its (creepy) glory.
