At Computex 2022, Corsair announced its first laptop for gamers, which benefits from the AMD Advantage program. The Voyager a1600 features an AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS or Ryzen 9 6900HS processor, as well as a Radeon RX 6800M graphics chip. But this 2.4 kg 16-inch model surprises with its horizontal bar, accessible even when the lid is closed and featuring 10 customizable shortcut keys.
These 10 keys called S-key are compatible with the software used by the Elgato Stream Deck, which makes it a tool particularly well suited to players who want to stream. There is also an effort on cooling with the use of a steam chamber and two fans. The backlit keyboard benefits from ultra low-profile Cherry MX mechanical switches.
The equipment also includes 32 or 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 or 2 TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. The screen offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, with a display frequency of up to 240 Hz. machine is full of connectors with a USB 3.2 Type-A port, a USB 3.2 Type-C port and two USB 4 / Thunderbolt ports. For wireless communications, the laptop has Bluetooth 5.2 and especially Wi-Fi 6E.

The Voyager a1600 laptop will be available in June in two configurations. Count around $2,700 for the model with an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The Ryzen 9 version with 64 GB of memory and a 2 TB SSD will cost around $ 3,000. The rates for France are not yet known.
