WOERDEN – Ellen van Dijk has broken the world hour record. The 35-year-old time trial world champion came to a distance of 49,254 kilometers on the velodrome in Grenchen, Switzerland. In doing so, she improved the old record of 48.405 kilometers set in 2021 by British Joscelin Lowden by almost 1 kilometer.
