So far, Ebba Hansson has managed to knit 80 pairs of socks that will soon be on their way to Ukraine. She knits for both adults and children, but mostly for the children.
– I enjoy every time I put down a finished pair and think that now it warms the feet of a little fellow human being.
Caught in the war
Ebba usually knits the socks in front of the TV and the news from the war in Ukraine has gripped her hard.
– We are doing so well here in Sweden, so I think it is a duty to help Ukrainians with what we can. What I can do is knit.
Have knitted over 1,000 socks
Over the years, Ebba Hansson has sent socks to various organizations that help those in need.
– So far in my life, I have knitted over 1,000 socks.
