Destiny 2 kicks off its 21st season next week on Tuesday. So that you know which Exos could be interesting and which ones you should therefore take with you, we will show you the 9 most interesting options in our overview.

What will change? Bungie has revealed a lot for the upcoming Season 21, because not only enemy shields will be changed, but also Exo weapons and armor will be adjusted. Our Destiny author Christos took a look at the changes and shows you which Exos you should definitely have ready for the start of the new season.

Mask of Bakris

Why this Exo? The Mask of Bakris gains an increased damage buff in PvE and an additional buff in PvP:

  • PvE from 10% to 25% more damage for Arc weapons or against slowed or frozen enemies
  • PvP to 6% more damage for Arc weapons or against slowed or frozen enemies
  • With this buff, the mask could become a better option, especially in PvE, because there are many strong arc weapons that are used for damage phases or bosses.

    pledge of allegiance

Why this Exo? The Exo will now grant your bow increased damage when drawn. The longer it is stretched, the higher the damage will be, until the damage bonus finally disappears if the stretching time is too long.

This combo could be a terrible meta, especially in PvP, which our author Britta already predicted.

    titanium

    Point contact gun tripod

Why this Exo? The Exo will now startle enemies. In addition, the PvE damage of lightning strikes has been increased from 50 to 200. The buff will now increase the damage of lightning bolts by 50% instead of increasing their range.

Paired with the Donnerlord could create a powerful combo in which you will immerse everything in a thunderstorm full of lightning.

    No plan B

Why this Exo? No plan B is completely revised:

  • Now provides a moderate advantage to shotgun effectiveness in the air and reload speed.
  • As long as you have a Void overshield, shotguns deal bonus damage and shotgun finishers refresh your overshield.
  • When using a Void subclass, quick shotgun finishes or defeating a powerful enemy with a shotgun will grant you a Void overshield and kick start your health regeneration.
  • With these changes specified by Bungie, No Plan B could become the new PvP Gorillas meta. One Titan Void Barricade is enough for one Titan per Guardian kill to regain the Void Shield. I’m already telling you, you won’t forget this Exo in Season 21.

    Chromatic Fire

Why this Exo? Chromatic Fire increases the radius of your explosion after a kinetic kill. In addition, you apply status effects to your opponents depending on which subclass you have equipped:

  • Arkus will blind
  • strand will separate
  • Void will weaken
  • Solar will scorch
  • Stasis will slow down
  • An exo that could be interesting especially for the ad clear or even for everyday use.

    Evensong by Radius

Why this Exo? Your Rift will generate an Arc Shockwave every 5 seconds, dealing damage:

  • PvE: 200 damage
  • PvP: 70 damage
  • If enemies are defeated, they explode in an arc light, dealing 100 damage. With your Arc Focus equipped, your exploding enemies will even blind other nearby enemies.

A good PvE exo could also arise here, which you can put on in between for strikes or twilights. So you can safely stand in a rift and punish nearby enemies.

    weapons

    eyes of tomorrow

Why this Exo? The Exo was far too inefficient for what it was originally built for.

That’s why Bungie has now made sure that you get 1 rocket refund for every 4 different kills you’ve targeted. If you’re clever, you could never run out of ammo. Perfect for crushing hordes of enemies.

    workhorse

Why this Exo? The workhorse is good, but not good enough, so Bungie has given the machine gun a new explosive perk. Every 20th shot ends in an explosion. If the weapon is fully charged, you need even fewer shots to activate explosions.

Combine this as a Titan with the Actium Wargear Chest Exo and blast your opponents in an endless hail of bullets.

    Graviton Lance

Why this Exo? Bungie felt the Graviton Lance could use a lick of paint, so the Pulse Rifle got the same fire mode as the Exo “Revision Zero” and its two-shot fire mode. The damage has been adjusted and the rate of fire increased:

  • Rate of fire increased from 257 to 300 (Firing delay reduced by 20%. Now as fast as revision zero)
  • Damage has been rebalanced
  • Damage from the first shot has been increased:
  • Body: from 9.5 to 19
  • Critical: from 15.7 to 31.4
  • Damage from the first shot has been reduced:
  • Body: from 35.6 to 25.6.
  • Critical: from 58.7 to 42.3.
  • Thus, in a Void Warlock build, the Pulse Rifle could explode many enemies.

That was my recommendation to you. It remains to be seen which options players will combine with new synergies to take advantage of the best possible benefits.

Until then, however, you should collect some weapons and armor and put them aside so that you are prepared in case the worst comes to the worst. Did you not mention a weapon or armor that is worth mentioning? Let me know in the comments!
