A man in his 80s has died in a drowning accident at a bathing place outside Västerås, reports VLT.
The alarm came in at 3pm on Thursday afternoon.
According to the newspaper, the man was discovered by bathers at the site who pulled him out of the water.
The emergency services started cardiopulmonary resuscitation when they arrived at the scene, but the man’s life could not be saved.
