Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub took a spacewalk from the Poisk Mini Research Module on the International Space Station. Moving to the Nauka module, Russian cosmonauts installed nanosatellite and communication hardware systems in the module.
COMPLETED IN 7 HOURS 41 MINUTES
The spacewalk of the Russian cosmonauts, planned as 6 hours 52 minutes, was completed in 7 hours 41 minutes due to the satellite system not being fully deployed.
While the installation of communication equipment into the module has been completed, it was stated that the nanosatellite system installation will be carried out during the next spacewalk. Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko performed the spacewalk mission for the sixth time and Nikolai Chub performed the spacewalk mission for the first time.
NASA astronauts Loral O’Hara and Jasmin Moghbeli will also perform a spacewalk on October 30. The spacewalk is planned to start at 08.05 and last approximately 6 and a half hours. (UAV)
