8 handcuffed prisoners stay in a dark cell the national

Ben-Gvir, a former Israeli minister convicted of inciting racism and hatred, shared on the X social media platform his visit to the section of a high-security prison where detainees accused of participating in the attacks around the Gaza Strip on October 7 are staying.

Pointing out that the detainees were “kept in the harshest conditions” in line with his instructions, Ben-Gvir stated that “8 prisoners were left with their hands tied in a dark cell, where the toilet had a hole in the middle, the beds were made of iron” and that “the Israeli national anthem was playing non-stop” in the background.

Ben-Gvir stated that he will continue his work to enact the “death penalty for terrorist crimes”, which was approved by the government in the past, and that he hopes that these detainees will be executed.

It was noteworthy that the speeches could not be heard due to the sound of the Israeli National Anthem playing in the background in the images shared by the Israeli Minister.

MINISTER BEN-GVIR, WITH A REVIEW, LIVING IN AN ILLEGAL JEWISH SETTLEMENT

Ben-Gvir, known in Israel for his Jewish supremacist politics, lives in an illegal Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank and has long been a controversial figure.
According to reports in the Israeli press, after the events of October 7, approximately 25 thousand weapons, as well as ammunition and other war materials, were purchased from Israeli arms companies as part of Ben-Gvir’s campaign to arm civilians and settlers.

Ben-Gvir shared photos of people detained for their social media posts after October 7, with their hands handcuffed in front of the Israeli flag.
Ben-Gvir, who is known for encouraging acts of violence by Jewish settlers in occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, is called the “murderers’ lawyer”, “devil’s advocate” and a “convict” by Palestinians for his work as a lawyer in cases related to terrorist attacks by fanatic Jews.

Ben-Gvir was also a former member of the racist “Kah” movement, which Israel banned in 1998 for terrorist acts and the United States designated as a terrorist organization.
Ben-Gvir, who was exempt from military service due to the radicality of his views and against whom 53 indictments were prepared for charges such as “hate, provocative speech and racism”, was convicted of “racism and supporting a terrorist organization” in 2007.
