Our postal and delivery behaviour has changed significantly over the past twenty years. Seventy percent less mail is now sent than at the beginning of this century. At that time, this amounted to around three letters per day, now it is less than four per week. The parcel delivery service is much busier, PostNL is responding to this with new parcel machines.
