The Maritime and Air Rescue Center JRCC and the Sea Rescue Society searched for the man by boat and helicopter, and just before five o’clock JRCC was able to announce that the man had been found.
The man was out doing a ride with his echo which usually takes around 40 minutes. When he hadn’t been seen for two and a half hours, a friend raised the alarm.
When the man was found, he was tired and thirsty, but in the circumstances was fine.
