A 65-year-old man has died in connection with a drowning accident in central Skellefteå. The alarm came in just after lunch on Wednesday.
“You have seen a person out in the water, who you no longer see, and the rescue service is launching an operation that we are assisting with drones,” says Elisabeth Glaaspress spokesperson at the police.
No crime suspected
Shortly after 2 p.m., the rescue service found the man in the Skellefteälven.
“There is no suspicion of crime,” says Elisabeth Glaas.
