We Feb 24, police Launched their investigation after receiving information of sexual misconduct that was alleged to have occurred over the span of one month.
As a result of the investigation that was assisted by the perth county opprium unit, the accused was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual Assault on Person Younger Than 16 Years of Age;
- Sexual interference; and
- Luring a person younger than 16 years of age
The accused was held for bail and appeared before the ontario court of justice in stratford on wednesday. However, due to a publication ban, no further information will be released in order to protect the identity of the victim, police said in the release.
