62 of French people are ready to sacrifice an evening

    A survey published on the occasion of Sleep Day reveals that 25% of French people say they sleep well, or even very well. It is also 62% who are ready to trade an evening with friends for a good night’s rest.

    Renowned for taking sleeping pills, more and more of the French are said to be falling asleep. According to a survey conducted by Wopilo, a brand of bed linen, 70% of people surveyed consider sleep a pleasure. For nearly one in two respondents (46%) it would be their secret, form, beauty or even intelligence.

    Sleep occupies a large place in the daily life of the French

    Exit the outings and place the “slow life” rhythm. According to the study, 62% of respondents say they are ready to sacrifice an evening with friends for a good night’s sleep. The same goes for series. 53% of respondents say they are ready to postpone watching an episode to go to bed.

    Are the French turning in on themselves? According to the results, only 22% of respondents are ready to prioritize sleep over a discussion with a loved one. As for physiological needs, 36% of French people can prioritize sleep over a good meal. At last, “19% prefer to join the arms of Morpheus rather than a part of legs in the air…!”, can we read in the study. “The French prefer to sacrifice ‘social’, outward-looking activities (an evening, a film) rather than more personal, more intimate pleasures”comments Thomas Hervet, founder of Wopilo in a press release.

    Stress prevents you from sleeping well

    To fall asleep, everyone has their own routine. According to the results of the study, 33% of respondents opt “for the natural power of endorphins after having sex”. More “classic”, more than one in two French people prefer reading (56%) and 44% choose a film or a series. Meditation is gradually gaining a place in the bed of the French (20%). We also find the timeless relaxing herbal tea in 26% of respondents.

    Sometimes sleep can be delayed. According to 70% of respondents, stress is “the number one enemy of their sleep”. Noise prevents 45% of respondents from falling asleep. Cervical tensions complete the podium with 45%.
