1. Mark things on the map

With the new ceiling jump you can almost pass through ceilings. Be it a platform, cave or enemy camp, you can quickly reach the surface of it with the ability.
With the new one synthesis you can fuse all items together. So you can connect a minecart to your shield and you’ve built a skateboard. Even simple bridges can come in handy.

3. Combine your own powerful weapons and shields

You can strengthen shields by combining them with Bokblin horns. The blunt increase in value of your weapons can also be achieved with various combinations.
Arrows can also be combined with materials. If you fuse your arrow with a fire fruit, you will burn hit targets.
You should only be careful with a few combinations. Combining your sword with a blast barrel will likely get you killed.
4. Complete the tutorial as quickly as possible
Tears of the Kingdom invites you to explore the big world right from the start. However, it would be advisable to finish the tutorial quickly, because then you not only quickly unlock the glider, which can often save you from death, but also all the skills.
The locations and secrets are based on all of Link’s abilities and help you interact with everything in the world. So before you start struggling to achieve something, unlock everything in the tutorial and use your creativity and all the possibilities you have.

5. General combat tips
You don’t just have to bluntly smack it with your sword. Tears of the Kingdom offers many mechanics that can make the fight easier for you.
Use the sneak! If an opponent hasn’t spotted you yet, you can try to sneak up behind them. If you’re close enough, you can use the Y button to perform a sneak strike, dealing additional damage to the enemy.
Dodging makes the opponent vulnerable. If you have targeted an opponent by pressing in the right stick, you can do an evasive jump to the side or backwards. If you make the jump in perfect timing to an enemy attack, a slow motion is created in which you can hit the unprotected opponent many times with a sword.
How to hit headshots easier? Another slow motion occurs when you pull out the bow while falling. This drains your stamina, but allows you to land easier headshots. These headshots often disarm the opponent, allowing you to attack an unprotected opponent.

6. Strengthen yourself too
There are several ways to empower yourself. If you complete the many shrines, you will receive blessing lights. Four of them can be exchanged with statues of the goddess Hylia to upgrade stamina and hearts. If you have upgraded too many hearts or too much stamina, you can distribute the upgrades differently on the statues.
Unlike your ingredients and items, your swords, bows, and shields have limited space. To increase the space, you need to find the Krog seeds in the game world. You can then trade the seeds to Hestu for inventory upgrades.
Temporary upgrades are also important. The many dishes that you can prepare not only heal you, but also offer various buffs depending on the ingredient. Faster running or more attack power are just examples of useful effects.
Medicine, which you can cook from monster parts and certain insects, not only strengthens you, but also offers resistances. These resistances are essential in ice or lava areas.
