The release of EA Sports FC 24 is imminent. Now there was an insight into a few innovations and information about the start of Ultimate Team mode.
This is what’s going on at EA Sports FC 24: It won’t be long before EA Sports FC 24 will be released. At the end of this week, players can start early access.
After a lot of ratings for EA Sports FC 24 were recently published, some information about the launch of the game followed. For example, it was announced when the web app was coming.
In addition, a lot of other information was presented, which mainly revolved around Ultimate Team. We summarize six of the most interesting innovations for you here.
EA Sports FC 24 introduces innovations for FUT
The new pitch notes for Ultimate Team contain a lot of information about the mode, which is also returning to EA FC 24. We summarize some of the most exciting points here; you can find the whole list in the pitch notes (via ea.com).
Evolutionary: This is a new type of card that you can continually improve. Now EA has announced that new evolutions will be available every week in the first season in FUT – called Welcome to the Club. There will be a total of 12 this season.
You will be able to improve these cards in three categories: Gameplay, Utility and Cosmetic. This includes, among other things, better stats, new positions, visual upgrades and more for your cards.
In addition, the evolution system should also be combined with promotional events, such as Centurions.
Team of the Week: There has often been criticism that the TOTW is now too weak. EA FC 24 will address this by making the following changes:
In addition, cards from the top 5 women’s leagues will also end up in TOTW.
Women’s cards in Ultimate Team: For the first time, female players will also be playable in Ultimate Team, and it will also be possible to set up mixed teams.
In the pitch notes, EA now gave further details about special cards:
FUT Champions: FUT Champions is the most rewarding mode in Ultimate Team. In addition to the qualification, you also play the FUT Champions Finals, i.e. the Weekend League.
An important change is that the well-known FUT Champions players, i.e. the red player choice cards, will no longer be in the typical Weekend League rewards, but will be replaced by a reward of comparable value. What exactly that will be, however, is not yet clear.
However, according to EA, they should not have disappeared completely, but will appear again over the course of the year – just when and how is also unclear.
In addition, the rewards from rank 2 should be updated. Division 2 and everything above should also receive better rewards in Rivals mode.
Squad Battles: The half time length in the mode against the AI is shortened to 4 minutes. This should please fans of the mode as it means more matches can be completed in less time. In addition, only 32 matches per week count towards the rating, not 40 anymore.
Seasons: The seasons in Ultimate Team should play a more important role and be more closely related to the promos in FUT. In addition, these should be more closely linked to the swap system, in which you earn tokens and exchange them for rewards.
You’ll also now receive weekly XP rewards in Squad Battles, Rivals and Champions to help you climb higher in the Season Ratings.
The first event is coming up before the first season: Ultimate Team starts with the Mad Ready promo, which is primarily intended to distribute cosmetic upgrades for players. The values remain the same. However, the promo will start in early access in EA Sports FC 24.
It can be assumed that more and more information about EA Sports FC 24 will become known in the coming days. We’ll keep you up to date here at MeinMMO.
