5 warning signs in your language that you should never ignore! This may be the cause of the white tongue

5 warning signs in your language that you should never

We use our tongue to chew, swallow and speak, but the warning signs we shouldn’t ignore can also tell a lot about our health. Here are five warning signs our language tells.

LUMBINGS

British doctor Ross Perry said that warning signs on the tongue must be taken into account and continued: Unusual lumps and swellings anywhere in the mouth should be checked by your dentist or doctor. Especially bleeding wounds that do not heal in the gingiva should be shown to the physician. Abnormalities, lumps and swelling in the jaw area can often be associated with infections around the gums and mouth.

BURNING FEEL

Dr Perry says that “if you experience a burning sensation on your tongue, it’s usually due to irritation from drinking or eating something very hot, mouthwash or toothpaste. However, if there is no trauma because of these, you may be experiencing burning mouth syndrome,” he says, and recommends that a doctor be consulted.

itchy tongue

Thrush, which is usually seen in the mouth, can cause the person to go through a difficult process with its symptoms and pain. If there is itching and white patches on the tongue, it may be due to oral thrush. Perry recommends seeing a doctor if white patches persist, which may be a sign of other health conditions.

WHITE LANGUAGE

There are several reasons why your tongue may be white. Lichen planus is a common disease that causes inflammation (swelling and irritation) on your skin or inside your mouth. It is a rash that affects different parts of your body. If this is the case, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Dr Perry said some medications can also cause white tongue, which could mean low iron or B12 deficiency.

RED AND WHITE SPOTTS

If you have white patches on your tongue, on the side of your mouth, on the roof or floor of your mouth, you may have leukoplakia. Leukoplakia disease, which means white palate, is a disease that occurs in the mouth, cheeks, palate, tongue and pharynx. There is a bluish and whitish protruding and hardened stratification in the disease. Particularly, the white layers formed on the cheek and tongue are among the most prominent features of Leukoplakia. The biggest cause of leukoplakia is smoking and chewing tobacco. Apart from these, incorrectly made dentures and broken teeth also cause the development of leukoplakia.

The emerging symptoms should be observed well and a doctor’s appointment should be made without wasting time on the white layers formed in the mouth.
