2. PlayStyles are much more important than expected
What are the PlayStyles of EA FC 24? PlayStyles are a central new feature of FC 24. It gives players special characteristics based on their real-world abilities. There are PlayStyles that improve dribbling, give stronger shots, enable great passes and more.
The PlayStyles come in 2 variants, of which the PlayStyles+ variant offers the greatest improvement.

Why PlayStyles are so exciting: The new PlayStyles finally make players who have otherwise been quite uninteresting in recent years really useful. Because even if Julian Brandt, for example, doesn’t have the best speed values, his Tiki-Taka play style makes him really strong and playable.
Difficult passes in particular reach their destination much more accurately in combination with this play style. The Finesse PlayStyle, which almost feels like a cheat code, is also popular. Players with this ability can effortlessly sink balls into the goal from outside the box.

3. Learn the R1 dribble. This is OP and gets everyone wet
Since we’re talking about PlayStyles, let’s introduce you to the technical PlayStyle, which significantly improves the new R1 dribbling. The play style suddenly makes players like Bernardo Silva popular because he can suddenly cut through the opponent’s defense despite having little pace.
The new dribbling is called “controlled sprint”. This is a kind of intermediate form between normal running and full sprinting.

The big advantage here is the very good combination of ball control and speed. This creates a new type of dribbling that can be extremely helpful in moving through the opponent’s defense. With quick, controlled movements it is possible to easily move around enemies.
This is how you use dribbling: You activate the “controlled sprint” by pressing the R1/RB button while controlling your running direction with the left stick. Then all it takes is a little practice to get into the new movement pattern and literally curve around opponents.

4. Get to grips with precise, manual shots
A new addition to EA FC 24 is “Precision Shooting,” which you can turn on or off in the gameplay area of the game settings. To do this, simply switch the “shooting aid” to “precision”.
Now you can determine much more precisely where your shot should land in the goal. This leads to significantly more control and accuracy when shooting on goal – but you have to master it. Because it’s not really easy to make precise shots at the beginning and it can happen that you put very simple shots next to the goal.
But after sufficient training, the precise shots should work much better and give you a real advantage. It is also helpful to activate the motion indicator in the settings so that you can see more precisely where you are actually aiming when shooting.
5. Be sure to check out the new training arena
In order to learn all the previous tips properly, you can use the well-resourced training arena. This has become significantly more extensive compared to the FIFA parts of recent years and now offers you the opportunity to train in numerous scenarios.
You can line up as many teammates and opponents as you want on an empty court, set the rules and practice moves, passes, shots, free kicks and even play real training games.
