FIFA 22 is currently running the Team of the Season event. That brings a lot of powerful cards – here are 5 good but cheap candidates for your team.
What is this list? New cards are coming to FIFA 22 on a regular basis, with extremely high values. Due to the TOTS event, more and more cards end up in the game that are really, really good.
The problem: Many of these cards are not only really good, but also really expensive. The top candidates in particular often cost coins in the upper six-digit range.
You can hardly afford that if you only have a few coins in your FUT account. But there are also some cards that are noticeably cheaper – and they also have something to offer.
Here we show you 5 good but cheap TOTS cards that cost no more than 30,000 coins. Consider: The transfer market in FIFA 22 always fluctuates a little and the prices are not to be understood as fixed. So if the tickets are a bit more expensive at the moment, wait until they are cheaper again.
Karim Adeyemi
Costs: about 30,000 coins
League/Nationality: O. Bundesliga / Germany
This is what sets Adeyemi apart: In real-life football, Adeyemi was making headlines because his move was publicized. Instead of Red Bull Salzburg, the attacker will play for Borussia Dortmund in the future – a new signing for the Bundesliga.
And Adeyemi could also get a place in your team. The German striker comes with plenty of pace and strong dribbling values, as well as offering four stars on skill moves. You can also use a deadeye style to push his shot and pass stats past 90. Adeyemi basically has everything you need on the offensive – and the striker is also strong in the air.
However, it has only just fallen below the 30,000 mark and sometimes still jumps over it again. So pay attention to the right purchase timing.
Owen Wijndal
Costs: approx. 21,750 coins
League/Nationality: Eredivisie / Netherlands
This is what sets Wijndal apart: Let’s jump down the price shelf a bit: Wijndal is one of the cheapest TOTS maps you can get right now. But don’t let yourself be fooled: the Dutchman has all the values for an absolutely solid full-back.
He combines speed with physique and defense stats to close in at the back, while also offering good passing and dribbling stats to get in on the attack. He also has a high stamina value of 97 – so you probably won’t need to replace him.
With an Anchor style, you can push the most important defensive stats—Pace, Defense, and Physical—even higher.
Filip Kostic
Price: about 29,500 coins
League / Nationality: Bundesliga / Serbia
This is what sets Kostic apart: Kostic not only just won the European Cup with Eintracht Frankfurt, but also got a TOTS card in the current event.
She can offensively offer very good values for a winger. A lot of speed and strong passing and cross values make Kostic an exciting preparer. Kostic can also convince in dribbling, just like in the strong endurance (97).
Kostic also got an upgrade in the stars: he now has 4-star skills and 3 stars on the weak foot – one more than before.
To make him even more dangerous at the end, a finisher style is a good idea.
Salem Al Dawsari
Price: about 29,500 coins
League / Nationality: SPL / Saudi Arabia
This is what sets Al Dawsari apart: The left midfielder got a really bad card. With lots of speed and dribbling, Al Dawsari can easily turn around his opponents, as well as good shooting and passing values. He also has the necessary physique, you can only forget about defending.
The 5 stars for the weak foot stand out in particular, as do the 4 stars for the skills. The offensive player, who also brings high work rates forward, is difficult to calculate.
However, as a Saudi Arabian player from the MBS Pro League, he is not necessarily easy to place in the starting XI, as chemistry with other players at the same level is difficult to establish. This should be one reason why Al Dawsari is comparatively cheap.
But if you can build him in, or use him as a substitute, it’s best to use a Marksman style to boost shooting and dribbling values and physique a bit.
David Raum
Price: about 30,000
League / Nationality: Bundesliga / Germany
This is what makes space: 99 speed, which is made up of 99 acceleration and 99 sprint speed – that’s a damn good argument for many players. Those who are not yet convinced can perhaps enjoy the high physical and defensive values.
And if that’s still not enough for you, then look at the passing and dribbling values, which also make space interesting on the offensive flank. Only the shot values, they are rather negligible.
To cut a long story short, using a Sentinel style results in a left-back that leaves little to be desired.
Plenty more TOTS maps will be coming into play in the coming weeks. We show you the complete TOTS schedule here.
