If you want to catch powerful Pokémon in Pokémon GO, you already have a huge selection. Legendary monsters of different generations, ultra beasts, mega evolutions and other examples can now be obtained in the game.
Special forms, such as the massive monsters Proto-Groudon and Proto-Kyogre, or the extremely strong Mega-Rayquaza, have also found their way to Pokémon GO in 2023.
However, you can still look forward to a few monsters that haven’t made it to Pokémon GO yet. We’ll show you 5 monsters from the main series that aren’t yet in Pokémon GO.
Mega Mewtwo X and Y
Mewtwo is already one of the strongest Pokémon ever, but its mega forms X and Y are even more dangerous. You get them by doing Mega Evolution. Once they make their debut in Pokémon GO, they’ll be one of the toughest things you can field in raid battles.
Are there any signs of Mega Mewtwo X and Y? Absolutely, because they were already part of official artwork for Pokémon GO birthdays and were already found in data mining. However, that was quite a long time ago and is therefore no longer an indicator that they would be released soon. In the meantime, some of the top mega developments such as Rayquaza, Despotar and Garchomp have already appeared. It’s conceivable that Mewtwo isn’t too far away either.
Necrozma
Necrozma is a cruel monster looking for light to absorb. It is an extremely powerful monster that also brings new forms when it takes on the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala, both of which are already present in Pokémon GO. It also comes with an “ultra form” that belongs to the psycho and dragon types.
Are there signs of Necrozma in Pokémon GO? Necrozma is closely linked to the Ultra Beasts and the Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala, which already exist in the game. It was also hinted at in November 2022 along with other Pokémon GO Ultra Beasts in the form of various teasers.
But to this day it is not in the game, like the other ultra beasts from the teaser. So the motto here is: keep waiting.
Endynalos
Endynalos is part of a trio that also includes Zacian and Zamazenta. But while the two legendary hero Pokémon are already in Pokémon GO, their powerful opponent is not yet in the game.
Endynalos is an alien monster that came to Earth thousands of years ago and began absorbing the energy of the Galar region. Zacian and Zamazente stopped it, but in the Sword and Shield games it returns throughout the story.
It is also responsible for the Dynamax phenomenon, which transforms Pokémon into giant forms of themselves. Endynalos itself also has a special, gigantic Dynamax form. If you look at the stats, Endynalos is one of the most powerful Pokémon ever.
Are there any signs of Endynalos in Pokémon GO? Unfortunately not yet. There are already many Galar Pokémon in the game, but some are still missing. It remains to be hoped that Endynalos will also make his debut in time.

The white and black Kyurem
The Pokémon Kyurem has been available to catch in Pokémon GO for a long time, but its more powerful forms have not yet been caught. It can achieve this by fusing with the monsters Zekrom or Reshiram. These two have also been available to catch in Pokémon GO for a long time.
Are there any signs of the Kyurem forms in Pokémon GO? Yes, they were actually already in the game – albeit accidentally. For a short time, trainers could get the white or black Kyurem as a reward from the Battle League, which caused a lot of excitement. But this process turned out to be a mistake and the forms were deactivated again by Niantic.
It remains unclear when they will return.
Arceus
Arceus is a mysterious Pokémon and a special case: it can take on any of the known Pokémon types if you change certain panels. It is considered in legend to be the creator Pokémon of the Pokémon world. It is closely associated with the Pokémon Giratina, Dialga and Palkia. In addition, it has completely balanced values and therefore no major weaknesses.
Are there any signs of Arceus in Pokémon GO? Trainers have been waiting for Arceus for many years, but to date it has not appeared. Even supposed references to the monster have so far always proven to be a fallacy. Now the big Sinnoh tour will start in February 2024, which many trainers expected to include the Pokémon God, but here too it has not yet been announced. Instead, the Sinnoh tour seems to revolve more around the original forms of Dialga and Palkia.
In short: As things stand, it is completely unclear when Arceus will land in Pokémon GO and we will probably have to be patient. But at least there’s another “god” in Pokémon GO that you can catch in droves.
